14 awards for EAVE producers in Sarajevo
Awards August 2013
- HISTORIA DE LA MEVA MORT by Albert Serra, production manager: EAVE 2006 graduate Dan Burlac won the Pardo D’Oro, the main prize of the Film Festival Locarno.
- TO KILL A MAN by Alejandro Fernandez Almendras, co-producers: EAVE PUENTES 2013 participant Eduardo Villalobos and EAVE 1998 graduate Guillaume de Seille received the Carte Blanche Prize of the festival.
- MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE by Marc Bauder, co-producer: EAVE 2006 graduate Michael Kitzberger was given Locarno’s Semaine de la critique prize.
- COSTA DA MORTE (COAST OF DEATH) by Lois Patino, producer: EAVE 2013 participant Felipe Lage Coro won the prize for the best new director
EAVE graduates have been extremely successful at the 19th Sarajevo Film Festival, winning 14 awards:

- SPECIAL JURY AWARD for A STRANGER by Bobo Jelcic, producer: EAVE 2013 participant Zdenka Gold
- HEART OF SARAJEVO FOR BEST ACTRESS to Lika Babluani and Mariam Bokeria for their perfomance in the film IN BLOOM by Aana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Groß, co-producer: EAVE 1998 graduate Guillaume de Seille
- HEART OF SARAJEVO FOR BEST ACTOR for Bogdan Dikli? in A STRANGER by Bobo Jelcic, producer: EAVE 2013 participant Zdenka Gold

- The Audience Award for best feature film went to CIRCLES by Srdan Golubovic, co-producer: EAVE group leader Danijel Hocevar

- I BELONG by Dag Johan Haugerud, produced by EAVE 1995 graduate Sigve Endresen won four Amandas at at the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund: Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Actress. The film was also awarded the Nordic film prize by the Norwegian Critics Association.
