Biography

Christopher has over 25 years experience working in film and television with credits on a wide range of productions, from blockbuster studio fare to micro-budget features via factual television. Starting as a Runner, he worked his way up via Assistant Director, to Line Producer and is now a respected Producer in his own right. He has run Poisson Rouge Pictures for the past 15 years, an Anglo-French production company involved in the development, production or finance of over 25 feature films and television dramas since its inception. Nominated for a BIFA in 2009 for The Hide and again in 2011 for A Thousand Kisses Deep, Christopher spends a significant amount of time teaching and mentoring. Christopher is an assessor for Guiding Lights (directors and producers), a regular speaker at the NFTS and has acted as advisor to a number of companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company and adidas. He is a member of BAFTA, The Production Guild, The Directors Guild of Great Britain and a founding member of AFAR, the French Assistant Director’s Guild. Christopher is currently overseeing the production and delivery of the third slate of Creative England’s iFeatures in his capacity as Executive Producer.
