The European Producers Workshop is a year long professional development programme for European audiovisual producers delivered through three seven day English speaking workshops held in different European cities.

EAVE European Producers Workshop 2011 culminated successfully in Lugano

The EAVE 2011 European Producers Workshop came to a close with its third and last workshop held in Lugano, Switzerland (October 24-31), organised in partnership with Domenico Lucchini and CISA – Conservatorio Internazionale Scienze Audiovisive.

During this final workshop, the 51 participants from 31 countries had the opportunity to meet 54 high-profile European professionals from the industry* in 700 pre-scheduled one-to-one encounters andnumerous informal meetings in order to pitch the 36 projects that were developed during this year's EAVE training cycle. (*Please find the complete list of Decision Makers here).

EAVE has the pleasure to announce that this workshop ended with some very positive and concrete results for the 2011 graduates and their projects.

Among the hit projects that ), were highlighted by the attending decision makers were for example the documentary ON THE MOVE, NOMADS IN THE GLOBAL WORLD (producer: Cédric Bonin, France) as well as the feature films ALI, THE GOAT AND IBRAHIM (producer: Hossam Elouan, Egypt), AROUND LUISA (producer: Eugenia Mumenthaler, Switzerland), CRISTIAN (producer: Oana Maria Giurgiu, Romania), FATA MORGANA(producer: Aleksi Hyvärinen, Finland), I WON’T COME BACK (producer: Natalia Drozd, Russia), THE JUDGMENT (producer: Stephan Komandarev, Bulgaria), THE LYING DUTCHMAN (producer: Ilona Schultz, Germany),MONUMENT TO MICHAEL JACKSON (producer: Snezana Penev, Serbia), MY CHAOS-FAIRY AND ME (producer: Maite Woköck, Germany) and SAINTS (producer: Enis Köstepen, Turkey).
