Biography

Film producer, founder, and CEO of Magic Hour Films, a company set up in 1984 and based in Copenhagen. Magic Hour Films develops and produces documentary and fiction for the national as well as international markets. A large number of productions are international co-productions of which many have received international acclaim, the top winner being ‘Burma VJ’ by Anders Østergaard with 52 international awards and an Oscar-nomination and ‘Into Eternity’ by Michael Madsen. The company also seeks to develop and promote new talent and Lise consults and supervises talent and up-coming companies. In addition, Lise Lense-Møller, has been lecturing and leading international workshops continuously over the last 25 years, a.o. as group leader for EAVE since 1993, an educational program for producers, which Lise is presently acting Head of Studies for. Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
