EAVE ON DEMAND tailor-made workshop for producers of Rio Grande do Sul

EAVE is proud to organise an EAVE ON DEMAND session in co-operation with Tecna – the Audiovisual Production Center of Rio Grande do Sul with Finep as the sponsor of the initiative. The workshop takes place in January 10-12, 2020, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil for producers of Rio Grande do Sul.

EAVE ON DEMAND RIO GRANDE DO SUL will consist of 3 days of masterclasses and group work sessions, as well as individual meetings for 6 producers and their writers with their projects in development as well as 6 producers participating without a project, but taking an active role in the group.

EAVE ON DEMAND RIO GRANDE DO SUL will combine the long experience that EAVE has in international training and networking with a tailor-made approach for producers from Rio Grande do Sul / Brazil, taking into account their specific needs.

The objective is to improve the participants’ skills in international coproduction, film finance and management, marketing, packaging, festival and sales strategies as well as script development, allowing them to take the next step in their careers and businesses.

The workshops will consist of group work for the selected projects in development, and the selected participants without a project, as well as master-classes for a wider audience.

The experts confirmed for the workshop include the following EAVE experts: group leader Fernanda del Nido (Setembro Cine, ES), script consultant Martin Daniel (US/CZ) and sales and marketing consultant Gabor Greiner (Films Boutique, DE).

Our target group are producers who already have a track record and credit as producer (of short or long feature films and/or documentaries) and who are willing to open up to the international market and to co-produce internationally.

All workshop sessions will be in English.

It is located inside Tecnopuc, the University’s scientific and technological park, which is one of the most respected ecosystems of innovation in Latin America. Thus, Tecna also encompasses scientific research, permanent training programs and business cluster.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
