EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs is proud to announce a new co-operation with the International Sàmi Film Institute, organizing together an EAVE on Demand workshop for Sami producers in Kautokeino, from October 1-5, 2019.
At the EAVE on Demand Kautokeino workshop we will combine the long experience that EAVE has in international training and networking with a tailor-made approach for Sami producers, taking into account their specific needs. The objective is to improve the participants’ skills in international coproduction, film finance and management, marketing, packaging and script development as well as company planning, allowing them to take the next step in their careers and businesses.
The 4-day workshop will be a mixture of masterclasses for a larger group of professionals and group work sessions for selected producers with and without project, as well as company planning sessions for selected CEOs of production companies.

The experts confirmed for the workshop include the following EAVE experts: Head of Studies Lise Lense-Møller (Magic Hour Films, DK), group leader Titus Kreyenberg (unafilm, DE), finance and company planning consultant Linda Beath (Ideal Filmworks, IT), Nordic finance expert Petri Kemppinen (Nordisk Film & TV Fond, NO), script consultant Giacomo Durzi (IT) and sales consultant Jan Naszewski (New Europe Film Sales, PL).
Our target group are producers and CEO´s who already have a track record and credit as producer (of short or long feature films and/or documentaries) and who are willing to open up to the international market and to co-produce internationally.
All workshop sessions will be in English.
The workshop, accommodation and meals will be free of charge for selected participants in Kautokeino. Participants can apply travel stipends from ISFI for the other travel costs.

EAVE on Demand Kautokeino is organized by EAVE and Sàmi Film Institute in co-operation with Sámi Parliament in Norway.

International Sámi Film Institute ISFI
The International Sámi Film Institute support Sámi filmmakers to develop, produce and distribute high quality film and tv-productions in Sámi languages. ISFI is giving support for screenwriting, production development and travel for Sámi professionals and production grants for Sámi production companies. ISFI is emphasizing on capacity building and training of Sámi film makers in many ways. We are organizing workshops for screenwriting, production development, production and pre-production. Year 2019-2020 ISFI is specializing to producers’ training for film and television.
