EAVE on Demand tailor-made workshop for producers from Ecuador
Quito, October 22-25, 2021
EAVE in partnership with Eurocine Film Festival and in collaboration with Cineuropa, Ocho y Medio, Copae and Egeda Ecuador are organizing an EAVE on Demand workshop for Ecuadorian producers.
The objective is to improve the participants’ skills in coproduction film finance and management, marketing and packaging, and to confront them with the reality of the international market, also taking into account the local current reality, and providing them with the necessary skills in order to succeed on a highly competitive international market.
The workshop will consist of masterclasses on Co-production between Europe and Latin-America and Marketing, Festivals and International Distribution, as well as group work on the 10 selected participants’ projects, under the guidance of EAVE experts Constanza Arena (Cinema Chile, CL) and Felicitas Raffo (CEPA Audiovisual, AR).
The workshop will be held in Spanish.
Constanza Arena - Cinema Chile (CL)
Constanza Arena is Executive Director of CinemaChile. In these years, the institution has been behind the successful positioning of Chile in the world as an exceptional cinematography, creating an innovative working model and methodology for the promotion of its cinema. For Constanza "to promote is also to train" the sector to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the international market to the maximum, in each of the phases of the production chain. CinemaChile has been involved in multiple successful cases in recent years, being A FANTASTIC WOMAN by Sebastián Lelio, the first Chilean film to win an Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2018, the most successful case.
Felicitas Raffo - CEPA Audiovisual (AR)
Felicitas Raffo was born in Colombia and traveled since her childhood for different Latin American countries. She lived in Brazil, Perú and Argentina. In Buenos Aires, she started to work in a entertainment Law Firm where she started in the film Industry. In 2005 she founded CEPA Audiovisual from where she has produced all her films. In 2017 She founded LOROLO based in Spain, with the idea to build a bridge with Europe to continue producing films with Latin America.
