EAVE ON DEMAND session for the Basque film industry

October 30 - 31, Bilbao, Spain

EAVE is proud to organise an EAVE ON DEMAND workshop in co-operation with the Europa Creativa Desk MEDIA Euskadi–Zineuskadi during October 30-31 at the Azkuna Centre in Bilbao, Spain, for the Basque industry. The aim of the initiative is to deepen participants’ knowledge in international sales and distribution, innovative marketing strategies, promotion and audience construction.

The workshop will be divided into two sessions.

The 30 October session will consist of a conference open to the general public in which EAVE experts Raquel Cabrera and Álvaro Vega will address topics such as marketing and audience development, sales and international distribution, working with sales agents, alternative distribution methods, new business and marketing models and social media networks.

The 31 October session will consist of a group work involving the selected projects.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Hemen Association, participants will be able to enjoy a coffee and networking break during the day.

Raquel Cabrera is the Account Manager of The Film Agency, working with the Spanish-speaking market and focusing on film marketing and consultancy services for producers. Some of her most important recent clients include Avalon, Fox, Mediapro, MOD and Telecinco.

Álvaro Vega is an experienced film marketing professional who has managed the promotion of more than 100 films for every type of audience. These films include all genres from blockbusters to début films to independent cinema reaching a wider international audience.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
