PUENTES 2024 selection announced!

press release

We are thrilled to announce the selection of participants for the 2024 edition of EAVE PUENTES!

This highly successful training program for European-Latin American co-production will bring together a talented groüup of 15 film professionals to develop their projects, careers, company structures and co-production skills with top-notch industry experts over one year and two workshops.

The first session of PUENTES will take place in the city of Udine, Italy, from July 15-21, and is made possible through a strong partnership between EAVE, FVG Audiovisual Fund, and MiC.

In parallel to the main PUENTES workshop, an additional local group of 11 Italian fiction and documentary producers, as well as other film professionals interested in collaborating with Latin America, will participate in PUENTES ITALIA from July 16 – 19.

The PUENTES pedagogical team includes Head of Studies Fernanda del Nido (Setembro Cine, AR/ES), group leader Sophie Erbs (Gaijin, FR), script consultant Jacques Akchoti (FR), and producer Agustina Chiarino (Bocacha Films, UY). They will be joined by Tatiana Leite (Bubbles Project, BR), Raquel Cabrera (The Film Agency, ES), Marcin Łuczaj (New Europe Film Sales, PL), Aleksandra Zakharchenko (Marché du Film, FR) and Alessandro Amato (dispàrte, IT).

A special networking session, "My Country at a Glance," will aim to build strong bridges between the international and local groups during both workshops.

The 15th edition of PUENTES will culminate with a second workshop in Montevideo (Uruguay), in November 25 – December 2 (TBC), in partnership with Bocacha Films. Following this final week of the workshop, the 2024 participants will attend VENTANA SUR (dates TBC) thanks to the partnership between EAVE and the Marché du Film.
