8 co-productions of EAVE graduates supported by EURIMAGES

- IT’S ALL SO QUIET, written and directed by Nanouk Leopold, executive producer: EAVE 1994 graduate Stienette Bosklopper is shooting. The story about a father-son relationship between an old farmer and his closet gay son is based on Gerbrand Bakker’s novel “The Twin”. Production companies: Isabella Films, Coin Film, Prime Time and Circe Films. Financing: Eurimages, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW (Nordrhein-Westfalen), MEDIA Programme, Dutch Film Fund, CoBO (National Broadcasters Coproduction Fund) and VPRO. Shooting on locations in Zeeland, The Netherlands, started in February.

EURIMAGES is funding 16 European co-productions with 4.95M Euro. Eight of the supported films are produced or co-produced by EAVE graduates.

- EPIC by Pawel Pawlikowski, producer: EAVE 2011 graduate Vladimer Katcharava gets 550.000 Euro

- GRENADE by Erik Poppe, co-producer: EAVE 1998 graduate Lesley McKimm receives 550.000 Euro

- VIO CASTELLANA BANDIERA by Emma Dante, co-producer: EAVE 1991 graduate Andres Pfaeffli is supported with 350.000 Euro

- CURE/GIRLS by Andrea Staka, co-producer: EAVE 2011 graduate Amira Kresevljakovic receives 320.000 Euro

- KLAUNI by Viktor Taus, producer: EAVE 2012 participant Michal Kollar, co-producer: EAVE 1999 graduate Donato Rotunno gets 210.000 Euro

- THE ROLE OF A LIFETIME, co-producers: EAVE 2012 participant Mark Lwoff and EAVE 2009 graduate Misha Jaari

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
