Biography

Reece is a BAFTA nominated and RTS award winning producer and founder of production companies ‘Bombito productions’ & ‘Randan’. Reece was selected by Screen International as a Rising Star Scotland. Reece has produced numerous award winning work, most recently he co-produced two features with the Netherlands – with support from Screen Scotland and the Netherlands Film Fund: 1. Midwinter Break - a drama feature based on the book by Bernard MacLaverty directed by Polly Findlay with Shoebox Films, Family Affair (NL), Film4, Protagonist and Focus Features. 2. Where Dragons Live by Suzanne Raes – a documentary co-production with Docmakers & NTR (NL) - which was an EAVE Producer’s Workshop project and premiered in competition at Sheffield Doc fest then IDFA in 2024. Randan are working across a varied slate of feature projects that span drama, documentary and animation. They have four theatrical release scheduled for 2025/2026. Reece is a proud alumnus of EAVE Producer’s Workshop, Rotterdam Lab, BFI Insight, ACE Eu mentoring and Torino Film Lab. Reece – as his slate attests, is passionate about working with and turning up the volume of queer talent, with a focus on intersectional LGBTQIA+ stories & voices.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
