Angad Singh

Biography

Angad Singh is an Indian producer working across feature films, series, and documentaries. He is drawn to stories that are deeply rooted in India, often in underrepresented or little known regions and communities. Angad seeks to continue working on stories that explore the intersection of environment, gender and social change. He wants to support filmmaker-driven cinema that is culturally specific, yet capable of resonating with audiences globally. Angad recently graduated from the EAVE Producers Programme. His previous work includes serving as executive producer on Dahaad, the first Indian series to premiere at the Berlinale, and on In Transit (Prime Video), a documentary series that explores the lives of trans and non-binary individuals in India. Angad was a co-producer on the feature film Superboys of Malegaon, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. He was also a producer on Turtle Walker, which premiered at DOC NYC and won the Grand T eton Award, marking his first collaboration with director Taira Malaney.
