Biography

Andreia Nunes is a Portuguese film producer and co-founder of Wonder Maria Filmes. As head of the narrative department for over a decade, she produced numerous projects for film & TV in Portugal, including Tiago Guedes's series Odisseia and feature Tristeza e Alegria na Vida das Girafas. Andreia produced the internationally acclaimed short An Avocado Pit by Ary Zara, shortlisted for the 96th Oscars. Elliot Page came on as EP and it was sold to Canal+ after screening at over 80 festivals. Andreia is also producing Ary’s first feature, which was the winner of the Torino Feature Lab’s CNC Pitch Prize. She produced João Nuno Pinto's feature 18 Holes to Paradise, a co-production between 3 countries, developed at Berlinale, with Alpha Violet as sales. With Lilian T. Mehrel she won the 2024 AT&T Tribeca Untold Stories program with Honeyjoon, Lilian's debut feature. She is a Cinema lecturer at Universidade Lusófona and trained as a Green consultant for films. Andreia was selected for the prestigious She supports bold, impactful projects that embody a unique and powerful vision, contributing to a world she believes in.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
