Biography

Claudio Cao Quintas graduated at ESPM (Superior School of Marketing)/ Brasil and post graduated in Audiovisual @ EAVE Program, 2105. In 2006 was the founder of Latina Estudio, a Brazilian based production company that works and co produces in several countries in Latin America. As a producer, has several nominations and prizes in many renomated International Awards, such as Cannes, Venice, Oscar, Moscow, Warsaw, Havana. Selected filmography as Producer/ Coproducer: -TONY MANERO - 2008, by Pablo Larrai?n- Directors\' Fortnight Cannes; Oscar pre- nominated; Best Film in Turin, Warsaw and Havana; - POST MORTEM - 2010, by Pablo Larrai?n- Official Selection Venice; Best Film in Guadalajara and Cartagena. - GARCIA - 2010, by Chepe Rugeles- Best film in Cartagena, best actress in Gramado/Brazil. - STORIES OF SAMBA - 2015, by Pedro Serrano- (short)- Best film of Critics and Canal Brasil Special Prize in Gramado/ Brazil; best film of audience in Bilbao/Spain. - WHEN I STOPPED WORRYING ABOUT SCOUNDRELS - 2015, by Tiago Vieira- (short)- Best script and best actor in Gramado/ Brazil; best film in Brasilia short. - ESTEROS - 2016 - by Papu Curotto- Official Selection in Outfest Los Angeles and Inside Out Toronto.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
