Biography

Natalia Drozd, born 1977 in Leningrad, has been working as a production lawyer for 10 years at CTB Film Company , where she started 2009 her career as a producer. 2020 Natalia created own company Forest Film. When the Russian invasion in Ukraine started Natalia left Russia and moved to Tbilisi, Georgia. Since beginning of 2023 she went to Hamburg where she continued her professional life as a film producer within Tamtam Film. In 2024 Natalia Drozd, Elmar Imanov and Eva Blondiau found YELLOW BLACKBIRD in Hamburg. Natalia has produced and co-produced more then 18 feature films, including GOLIAF (2022) by Adilkhan Erzhanov (Orizzonti Extra Venice IFF 2022), UNWANTED (2021) by Lena Lansikh (best Debut Director San-Sebastian 2021), COMPARTMENT NUMBER SIX (2021) by Juho Kuosmanen (Grand Prix Cannes 2021), CORE OF THE WORLD (2018) by Natalia Meschaninova (premiered San Sebastian and Toronto), ARRHYTHMIA by Boris Khlebnikov (Best Actor at Karlovy Vary IFF) and others.
