EAVE session in Cannes: Inclusive Co-Production in Action: Practical Strategies for Producers
May 17, 2025
on Saturday, May 17th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Palais Stage (Floor -1)
EAVE is happy to share the 2025 EAVE IMPACT Think Tank Report on Inclusive Co-Production Practices, a bold new framework to transform international co-production models through equity, transparency, and narrative sovereignty.
The report was launched at a special panel discussion during this year’s Marché du Film – Co-Production Day with
- Emile Hertling Péronard (Ánorâk Film, Denmark & Greenland)
- Jennifer Sabbah-Immagine (BIG SISTER & JSI Consultant, FR)
- Myriam Sassine (La Niña Cinema, France & Lebanon)
- Daniela Mujica (Productions Ocho, Canada)
The session was moderated by Tamara Dawit (Gobez Media, Canada, Ethiopia).
This panel offered a first look at key recommendations from EAVE’s 2025 Report on Inclusive Co-Productions, shifting the focus from challenges to solutions. Producers shared practical strategies for financing, fair deals, community-minded distribution, and equitable collaboration. Through real-world case studies, the discussion explores how to build trust in cross-border partnerships and cultivate harmony in multinational teams, equipping producers with actionable tools for ethical co-productions.
