Georgia 2011

In cooperation with the Georgian National Film Center, EAVE will organize a special workshop for producers from Georgia with feature films in development.

Workshop 1: March 25-27, 2011
Workshop 2: July 15-17, 2011

Organized by the Georgian National Film Center and EAVE, the Mini EAVE in Georgia will consist of two workshops, workshop 1 taking place in February 2011 and workshop 2 in June 2011 (dates TBC). In between the two workshops, the participants will be working on project development and will have been set specific tasks. Contact between the participants and the pedagogical team will take place via email and SKYPE. We will select 5 producer-writer teams with feature projects in development and 4-5 producers without project.
The workshop will enable feature film producers from Georgia to work together in two three-day workshops. The Pedagogical Team and participants work together on:
 
Workshop 1
-Script writing and script development
-Project development
-Legal aspects of co-production
-Development, production and co-production financing including many different areas of financing
-Communication skills and pitching
 
Workshop 2
- Packaging
-Market and audience awareness
-Sales and distribution including the principles underlying these practices
-Marketing tools including knowledge of the European and international market, the function of festivals and associated markets.
 
Target group:
Experienced Georgian feature film producers wishing to work on an international scale and to co-produce with Europe. Interested producers can apply with or without a feature film project in development stage.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
