EAVE is proud to organise an EAVE ON DEMAND Industry Training for the Nordic Film & TV Fund.

EAVE ON DEMAND consisted of 2 days of dedicated masterclasses on Synchronising a Resilient Team and Changing mindsets and roles in the industry and participation in the EAVE Producers Workshop 3, 2019, programme.

Short Profiles of the EAVE Experts who will share their experiences during the workshop:

Didar DOMHERI (FR) 

Didar Domehri is a French producer, founder of the production Company MANEKI FILMS and the Label FULL HOUSE. She has produced and coproduced 8 films since the creation of MANEKI FILMS in september 2009. She has been formerly the head of international sales of the french sales company FILMS DISTRIBUTION for 8 years (2001- 2009). She regularly teaches at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master in Cinema) and at the French film School ESRA. She has been appointed member of CNC/MAE – "Aide aux Cinémas du Monde" Committee, and just joined the selection committee for the Cannes FF Cinéfondation's residence. She also partakes in the selection committee for the Aquitaine region. An EAVE alumni herself, she now participates as an expert for the producers' program. She has produced : "Paulina" by Santiago Mitre (Critics'Week Grand Prize and FIPRESCI Award - Cannes FF 2015), "Return to Ithaca" by Laurent Cantet (Venice Days Award 2014, Toronto FF 2014, San Sebastian FF 2014), "La Confrérie des larmes" by Jean Baptiste Andréa (2013) , "7 Days in Havana" by 7 filmmakers including Benicio del Toro, Elia Suleiman, Gaspar Noé, Pablo Trapero, Laurent Cantet (Un certain Regard - Cannes FF 2012, San Sebastian FF 2012),  "Bang Gang" by Eva Husson (in post production),  and coproduced : "11 flowers" by Wang Xiaoshuai (Toronto FF 2011, San Sebatsian FF 2011) "Elefante Blanco" by Pablo Trapero (Un certain Regard - Cannes FF 2012, San Sebastian FF 2012) and "Dégradé" by Tarzan & Arab Nasser (Critics' Week - Cannes FF 2015).

Michael COMYN (IE) 

Michael Comyn is a business coach, trainer, broadcaster and scriptwriter with international experience of over 28 years of informing, entertaining and energising audiences.  In 2016 he is presenting a number of new seminars and coaching options around authentic leadership and derailment awareness for leaders. He is also a trained facilitator in the Immunity to Change ® programme taught in Harvard University. 

Michael Comyn is founder of The Fearless Organisation, formed with the purpose of removing stress from everyday situations and generating a stronger value of work life balance. This fear is manifest in communications, leadership, self-promotion and personal development. Michael is a frequent public speaker, panel member and contributor on work place stress and resilience. He also runs the highly successful Fly Fearless Seminar, which so far has educated over 1,800 participants on managing anxiety related to flying. 

Michael has developed \“The Resilient Leader\” course, an intensive one-day programme supported by additional one to one coaching for participants. This course has been delivered successfully around the world to Director and VP level. He has also designed the programme to support \“Start-ups\” across all levels.  He is an Associate Faculty Member of Dublin City University, Associate Faculty Member of the Institute of Leadership at the Royal College of Surgeons and has presented on programmes for the RCSI, RCPI, The College of Anaesthetists of Ireland, and the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland. In the corporate world he has coached and presented for Google in the US and Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, PepsiCo, RTE, Stryker Ireland, Simtech Aviation and Kingspan Ireland.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
