Transilvania Film Festival
  • PUENTES project THE HEIRESSES by Marcelo Martinessi, producer at development stage: PUENTES graduate Karen Fraenkel, co-producer: PUENTES graduate and group leader Fernando Epstein was awarded the Transilvania Trophy, the main award of the Transilvania Film Festival in Romania.
  • WINTER BROTHERS by Hlynur Palmason, producer: EAVE graduate Per Damgaard Hansen, co-producer: EAVE graduate Anton Mani Svansson won the Best Directing Award.
  • SOLDIERS. STORY FROM FERENTARI by Ivana Mladenovic, producer: EAVE graduate Jelena Mitrovic received the Romanian Days: Best Debut Feature Award.
  • LIFE GUIDANCE by Ruth Mader, producer: EAVE graduate Gabriele Kranzelbinder won the FIPRESCI Prize.
  • ONE STEP BEHIND THE SERAPHIM by Daniel Sandu producer: EAVE graduate & Romanian National Coordinator Ada Solomon received the Romanian Days Audience Award.
  • TOUCH ME NOT by Adina Pintilie, co-producer: EAVE graduate Philippe Avril received a Special Mention from the Romanian Days Jury
  • ANA, MON AMOUR by Calon Peter Netzer, producers: EAVE graduate Oana Iancu, EAVE Marketing Workshop graduate Jonas Katzenstein received a Special Mention for the main actor Mircea Postelnicu.


Mexican National Academy Awards

  • PUENTES project I DREAM IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE by Ernesto Contreras, producer: EAVE graduate Raymond van der Kaaij took home six of Mexico's most prestigious film awards, the Ariel Awards. The film, directed by Ernesto Contreras, the current president of the Mexican film academy, won the Ariels for cinematography, original score, sound and actor for Eligio Melendez.
  • LA REGIÓN SALVAJE (THE UNTAMED) by Amat Eschalante, producer: PUENTES graduate Katrin Pors won Best Director.
  • A FANTASTIC WOMAN directed by Sebastian Lelio, a film co-produced by EAVE graduates Jonas Dornbach and Fernanda del Nido won an Ariel for best Ibero-American picture.


Cabourg Film Festival

  • ÁGA by Milko Lazarov, producer: EAVE graduate Guillaume de Seille was awarded the Grand Prix of the international competition at the Cabourg Film Festival.


Oslo Pix Film Festival

  • TALE by Jennifer Fox, co-producer: EAVE graduate Jamila Wenske won the Grand Pix Award for Best Film in the international competition and the Audience Award of the Oslo Pix Film Festival
  • AMATEURS by Gabriela Pichler, producer: EAVE graduate Anna-Maria Kantarius was awarded the Grand Pix Nordic Fiction Award
  • THE DISTANT BARKING OF DOGS by Simon Lereng Wilmont, producer: EAVE graduate Monica Hellström wins Best Nordic Documentary
  • THICK LASHES OF LAURI MÄNTYVAARA by Hannaleena Hauru, producer: EAVE graduate Jussi Rantamäki receives an Honorable mention.


Italian Golden Globe

  • THE INTRUDER by Leonardo di Costanzo, producer: EAVE graduate Carlo Cresto-Dina won the 2018 Golden Globe for Best Film by the Italian Foreign Press Association.


  • B`EST project MIRACLE by Egle Vertelyte, producer: B’EST graduate Lukas Trimonis conquered the Lithuanian Film and TV Silver Crane Awards by taking home a total of four Silver Cranes, including Best Feature Film of the Year.
  • BREATHING INTO MARBLE by Giedre Beinoriute, producer: EAVE graduate and Lithuanian National Coordinator Dagne Vildziunaite received the Best Supporting Actor Silver Crane (Joris Baltrunas).
  • WONDERFUL LOSERS: A DIFFERENT WORLD, directed and co-produced by Arunas Matelis, co-producer: EAVE graduate  and Italian National Coordinator Stefano Tealdi went home with two Silver Cranes – for Best Documentary and Best score and received the most votes for the Audience Award.
  • THE ANCIENT WOODS by Mindaugas Survila, producer: EAVE graduate Heino Deckert received the Best Cinematographer Silver Crane.


 Sheffield Doc Fest.

  • A WOMAN CAPTURED by Bernardett Tuza-Ritter, producer: EAVE graduate Julianna Ugrin received a Special Mention at the Sheffield Doc Fest.


Slovakian Film Awards

  • THE LOAD by Ognjen Glavonic, producer: PUENTES graduate Sophie Erbs, co-producers: EAVE graduate and Croatian National Coordinator Ankica Juric Tilic, EAVE + graduate Tom Dercourt won the Blue Angel for Best Director at the Art Film Festival Kosice
  • WHAT WILL PEOPLE SAY by Iram Haq, co-producer: EAVE graduate Karsten Stöter won the Audience Award for Best Feature Film.


Valletta Film Festival

  • PITY by Babis Makridis, producer: EAVE graduate Amanda Livanou won Best Director and the Audi Audience Award at the Valletta Film Festival, Malta.
  • STYX by Wolfgang Fischer, co-producer: EAVE+ graduate Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu won Best Performance (Susanne Wolff) and Best Cinematographer (Benedict Neuenfels).

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
