EAVE PUENTES Europe/Latin America Co-Production Workshop launches its 9th edition from July 9 – 13, 2018, in Trieste, Italy. 14 producers and professionals (complete list of participants below) have been selected out of a record number of over 68 applications from 17 countries.

PUENTES is a two-part programme taking place in Trieste, Italy, in partnership with FVG Audiovisual Fund and under the patronage of MiBACT,  from July 9 – 13, 2018, and Montevideo, Uruguay, from December 5 – 9, 2018, in partnership with Mutante Cine. Thanks to a special cooperation, all participants will be able to attend VENTANA SUR (December 10-14, 2018), in Buenos Aires.

We are happy to announce the new long-term strategic partnership with MiBACT, Italian Ministry of Culture, the PUENTES participants will be joined by Italian producers and film commissioners for two days of common plenary sessions and professional networking. Aside from the plenary sessions, daily group work sessions will be the core of PUENTES. Participants will discuss and analyze each other’s projects under the guidance of Jean des Forêts (Petit film, France) and Fernando Epstein (Mutante Cine, Uruguay). The esteemed roster of key experts who will meet and guide participants includes Jacques Akchoti (script consultant, FR), Agustina Chiarino (Mutante Cine, UY), Aranka Matits (Featurette, NL), Jan Naszewski (New Europa Film Sales, PL), Tatiana Leite (Bubbles Project, BR), and Alessandro Amato (Dispàrte, IT).

PUENTES is organized by EAVE in partnership with MiBACT, Mutante Cine, FVG Audiovisual Fund , Ventana Sur, and with the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA sub-programme of the European Union.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
