It’s official: the EAVE 2023 selection!

We are delighted to close the year announcing the selection for the 2023 EAVE Producers Workshop!
EAVE Producers Workshop is funded by the European Union and supported by Film Fund Luxembourg.
56 producers and professionals from 36 countries (see the complete list below) have been selected out of 267 applications from 51 countries.
We are particularly grateful for the generous support of our 2023 scholarship partners:
- The French CNC supports the participation of 3 international producers at the EAVE Producers Workshop, namely Milos Ivanovic (Serbia), Carol Kioko (Kenya) and DFI Producers Lab graduate Yemoh Ike (Ghana).
- Thanks to German regional fund MDM, Ukrainian producers Darya Bassel and Olga Zhurzhenko and Enea Gramo from Albania will develop their skills at the EAVE 2023 course.
- PACT is offering a scholarship to one UK producer (Sinead Kirwan) in the name and memory of EAVE expert Dorothy Viljoen.
- Our partnerships with Telefilm Canada and SODEC made it possible for two producers from Canada (Julie Groleau and Sahar Yousefi) to attend the programme.
- The support of Projeto Paradiso was granted to Julia Alves from Brazil.
- The Italian regional fund Friuli Venezia Giulia supports a participant selected at When East Meets West: Aneta Zagorska from Poland.
- Our partnership with TRT - Turkish Radio and Television Corporation has made it possible for Ipek Erden to participate in 2023.
- Thanks to our collaboration with Fonds Jeune Création Francophone, Yanis Gaye from Senegal will participate with financial support from Film Fund Luxembourg.
In addition to those, a number of scholarships have been allocated by EAVE, including two EAVE diversity scholarships allocated to European participants who identify as black, indigenous or people of colour. Other EAVE scholarships were given in priority to participants from European low production capacity countries.
