EAVE announces new Heads of Studies for the prestigious EAVE PRODUCERS WORKSHOP

EAVE, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, is proud to announce that Tamara Dawit and Jennifer Sabbah-Immagine are joining as the new co-Heads of Studies of the well-known EAVE Producers Workshop, starting from the new 2027 cycle.
They take over from Oscar-nominated producer Lise Lense‑Møller, whose nearly three decades as Group Leader and eight years as Head of Studies have been instrumental in shaping the programme into one of Europe’s leading training initiatives for producers and industry professionals.
A New Chapter for a Landmark Programme
This leadership transition comes at a moment of continued success for EAVE.

Working with Lise has been a daily source of inspiration for me. Lise Lense-Møller, who has guided the programme with dedication, intelligence and expertise, reflects on her role and the transition:
“In parallel with producing, EAVE has been a big part of my work life and a source of constant inspiration, professionally and personally. On all levels, EAVE is by far the best 'workplace' and the best team I have ever experienced: brain, heart, professionalism, efficiency, and achievement-wise. Despite an incredible workload with upwards of 37 workshops every year, they are always ready to listen, adapt, and improve, and they always do it with a friendly, no-bullshit, and solution-oriented approach. I simply have never experienced anything close to this anywhere else, and it has been an immense privilege to be part of.
This is also true for the many meetings with talented and dedicated participants and experts, who each bring their unique experience and insight to the table. The profound and generous interpersonal and professional sharing, which has become such a hallmark feature of the EAVE experience, helps people grow and find their voice and place in a challenging industry, which they, in turn, then help shape.
Though sometimes exhausting (as very intense schedules are another EAVE hallmark), it has been deeply gratifying and motivating to be with EAVE for all those years. I, too, have learned a lot, but it is time to hand over the baton. I am very happy that Tamara Dawit and Jennifer Sabbah-Imagine, who are already treasured members of the EAVE family have agreed to take on the Head of Studies role, and I look forward to seeing the impact they will have on the EAVE Producers Workshop. I know they have a lot to offer future participants and the organisation, and I wish that they, just like I have, will find the experience to be a source of endless inspiration.”
Tamara Dawit is an Ethiopian, Eritrean, Ukrainian, and Canadian producer, creative sector policy advisor, and founder of Gobez Media. An EAVE alumna, Tamara Dawit, has served as Head of Studies for EAVE’s ACCESS BIPOC programme in Canada, the Sámi Producers Lab, Inclusive Production Practices On Demand, and EAVE’s Impact Think Tank. Outside of producing, she has held leadership roles at FACTOR and the Canada Media Fund, supporting the development of creative sector policy.

Jennifer Sabbah-Immagine is the founder of The Copro Agency, a consultancy specialising in structuring international co-productions. She has worked as Line Producer, Head of Development & International, Business Affairs and Producer at Big Sister. An EAVE alumna, she has served as a finance expert for the Producers Workshop, as group leader for EAVE’s CHANGE programme and the Arab Producers Lab and is one of the mentors of Inclusive Production Practices On Demand. She also serves as a consultant and advisor for co-production markets, institutions and production companies.

The EAVE Producers Workshop is a year-long, residential training programme that brings together over 50 producers from across Europe and beyond for three intensive one-week workshops each year.
EAVE graduates become part of a unique and active network of more than 3,000 European and international producers that forms one of the pillars of the independent film industry. At the recent Cannes Film Festival, for example, 40 films by EAVE producers were selected, and 15 awards went to the EAVE community, including the Palme d’Or for FJORD (producers Dyveke Bjørkly Graver, Andrea Berentsen Ottmar; co-producers Katrin Pors, Jussi Rantamäki), Best Director for FATHERLAND (producer: Lorenzo Gangarossa), the Jury Prize for THE DREAMED ADVENTURE (producer: Jonas Dornbach) and the Caméra d'Or for BEN’IMANA (producer: Samantha Biffot, co-producer: Ingrid Lill Høgtun).
