EAVE@ Stavanger: Special workshop for participants from Norway

Call for applications

EAVE Producers Workshop in Stavanger (June 22-29, 2018) also opens its doors to Norwegian producers and professionals with a tailor-made programme.

All plenary sessions of the workshop will be open for all interested industry professionals and film students to attend.

In addition, 11 participants from Norway with or without a project (fiction feature or documentary) will be selected for a special local EAVE programme tailor-made for their needs.

EAVE@Stavanger will take place over 2 days in between June 24-27, 2018.

This workshop which will consist of one-to-one mentoring and/or group work by various EAVE experts (on topics such as career development, company planning, co-production finance, legal issues of co-production, sales and distribution, the international market, festival strategies, marketing and story development), as well as of attending the plenaries of the EAVE workshop and networking with the 50 EAVE participants from 36 different countries as well as with all EAVE experts and guests.

The exact contents will be defined according to the final selection of participants.

Our target group are upcoming producers who already have a track record and credit as producer (of short or long feature films and/or documentaries) and who are willing to open up to the international market and to co-produce internationally.

Participation at EAVE@Stavanger is free of cost. For the travel and accommodation costs, you might be eligible for a travel grant from your regional film centre, after the selection is confirmed (mid/late April).

EAVE@Stavanger is organized in co-operration with  The Norwegian Film Institute, Filmkraft Rogaland, Stavanger kommune, Rogaland fylkeskommune, Mediefondet Zefyr, Vestnorsk Filmsenter, Sørnorsk Filmsenter, Screen Story, Nordnorsk Filmsenter, Sola kommune and Chezville.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
