  • JOJO RABBIT by Tika Waititi, producer: EAVE graduate Chelsea Winstanley competes with six nominations (Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing, Best Production Design)
  • CORPUS CHRISTI by Jan Komasa, co-producer: EAVE graduate Patrice Nezan, sales: EAVE graduate Jan Naszewski is in for Best International Feature Film
  • A SISTER by Delphine Girard Belgium, producer: EAVE graduate Jacques-Henri Bronckart competes for Best Live Action Short Film
  • BROTHERHOOD by Myriam Joobeur, producer: EAVE graduate Sarra Ben Hassen is in for Best Live Action Short Film as well.

European Shooting Stars

EFP (European Film Promotion) has presented the ten best up-and-coming actresses and actors from Europe for its 2020 European Shooting Stars. Among them:

  • Pääru Oja, in: MIKHEL by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnusson, co-producer: EAVE graduate, group leader and Estonian National Coordinator Riina Sildos
  • Victoria Carmen Sonne, in: HOLIDAY by Isabella Eklöf, producer: Interchange graduate Trent
  • Levan Gelbakhiani, in: AND THE WE DANCED by Levan Akin, producer: EAVE graduate Mathilde Dedye, EAVE FFF graduate Ketie Daniela
  • Bartosz Bielenia, in: CORPUS CHRISTI by Jan Komasa, co-producer: EAVE graduate Patrice Nezan

The award ceremony will take place during the Berlin International Film Festival 2020.

British Academy Film Awards

  • JOJO RABBIT by Tika Waititi, producer: EAVE graduate Chelsea Winstanley is nominated for the 2020 British Academy Film Awards BAFTA in the categories Adapted Screenplay and Original Score.

The 2020 awards ceremony will take place on February 2.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
