BENEDETTA shooting now

  • MARIA’S CHILDREN by Zaida Bergrot, producer: EAVE graduate Evelin Penttilä is currently shooting in Estonia. MARIA’S CHILDREN is produced by Daniel Kuitunen and Kaisla Viitala through the Finnish companies Komeetta and Kaiho Republic in co-production with Evelin Penttilä through Estonia’s Stellar. Liisa Penttilä-Asikainen is executive producer. The film is supported by the Finnish Film Foundation, the Estonian Film Institute and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia. Film Estonia cash rebate, the Finnish broadcasting company YLE and the Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture (AVEK) Finland are also supporting. Shooting kicked off in July and will wrap in autumn. Shooting largely takes place in Olustvere and the Old Town of Tallinn, Estonia.

  • BEYOND THE HORIZON by Delphine Lehericey, co-producer: EAVE graduate Sebastien Delloye is currently shooting in Macedonia. The script written by Joanne Giger is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by the Swiss author Roland Buti. The film is a coproduction between Box Productions from Switzerland, Entre chien et loup from Belgium and Elzévir Films from France, with Kino Oko servicing in Macedonia. Centre du Cinéma, Screen Brussels, RTBF, BeTV, Macedonia’s Film Production Incentive Programme and Eurimages are supporting. Shooting is taking place entirely in Macedonia in July and August.

  • BENEDETTA by Paul Verhoeven, producers: EAVE graduates Arnold Heslenfeld, Laurette Schillings and Frans van Gestel is shooting in Italy. Virginie Efira and Daphné Patakia will play the main roles, Charlotte Rampling and Lambert Wilson are also part of the main cast. The film is produced by French SBS – Saïd Ben Saïd in co-production with Topkapi Films (NL).

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
