Creative teams with a film project and script-development professionals are eligible to apply for the training programme, which takes place on the Greek islands.
Organised by the Mediterranean Film Institute (MFI), the MFI Script 2 Film Workshops advanced script and project development training programme has launched the call for its 2019 session. Placing its focus on story design development and implementation across various narrative formats (feature films, documentaries and TV series) and unspooling via the corresponding platforms (MFI Film Lab, Doc Lab and TV Lab), the programme consists of four intensive workshop sessions, both residential and online, based primarily on group work, master classes, lectures, plenary sessions, case studies and individual consultations throughout a six-month cycle.

European and international creative teams, composed of screenwriters, producers and directors, with a feature fiction film, feature documentary or TV series project in development are eligible to apply, and the deadline is 6 March 2019. Script development professionals who do not have a project are also welcome to apply until 20 April 2019.

SPEED MEETINGS WITH NORDIC COMPOSERS AND PRODUCERS/DIRECTOR - open for EAVE producers

HOW DOES IT WORK? Each director/producer gets to meet each composer - and vice versa. A meeting lasts 9 minutes, after which you move on to the next meeting. It is fun, it is enlightening and there is a meet and greet afterwards.

NORDIC FILM AND TV has been in the vogue for quite some time, introducing the world to series like The Killing, Borgen, The Bridge (Broen), Wallander and Skam and films from Kaurismäki, Lars von Trier, Bent Hamer, to name a few. In short, there is a lot of quality to be found here, not the least in the music. Now you have the chance to meet these composers.

FREE ADMITTANCE, sign up by February 7.
