9 projects by EAVE producers supported by Eurimages

At its 144th meeting held in October in Tallinn, the Eurimages Fund agreed to support 22 feature films, 3 documentary and one animation project for a total amount of 5.6 m Euros. Among them are these films by EAVE graduates:

  • COMPATIBILITY, written, directed and produced by EAVE graduate Stephan Komandarev 
  • EN ATTENDANT LES HIRONDELLES by Karim Moussaoui, producer: EAVE graduate Nicole Gerhards 
  • MY GIRAFFE by Barbara Bredero, producer: EAVE graduate Léontine Petit
  • THE DESERTER Petr Jarchovsky and Jan Hrebejk, producer: EAVE graduate Michal Kollar 
  • DAOUD'S WINTER by Koutaiba Al-Janabi, producer: EAVE graduate Trent 
  • 3 DAYS IN QUIBERON by Emily Atef, producer: EAVE graduate Karsten Stöter 
  • NEVER GROW OLD by Ivan Kavanagh, producer: EAVE graduate Jacqueline Kerrin
  • THE LOAD by Ognjen Glavonic, producer: EAVE graduate Sophie Erbs
  • NICO, 1988 by Susanna Nicchiarelli, producer: EAVE graduate Valérie Bournonville

The Netherlands Film Fund has announced the results of the latest round of its Production Incentive scheme, in which 20 new film projects have received cash rebates totalling €3.6 million.

  • ARTHUR & CLAIRE by Miguel Alexandre, co-producer: EAVE graduate Arnold Heslenfeld 
  • JIHAD JANE by Ciaran Cassidy, producers: EAVE graduates Morgan Bushe, Macdara Kelleher
  • RAFAEL by Ben Sombogaart, producer: EAVE graduate Reinier Selen

  • SISTERS – KIZ KARDESLER by Emin Alper, producer: EAVE graduate Jonas Dornbach is supported by the German-Turkish Co-Production Development Fund. It is one of five films funded by the Medienboard, Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein Film Fund and Istanbul Film Festival / Meetings on the Bridge scheme.

The Wallimage audiovisual investment fund has opted to co-finance eight projects: five fiction features, two docs and a series. Among them:

  • THE MAN WHI KILLED DON QUIXOTTE by Terry Gilliam, co-producers: EAVE graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum and Sébastien Delloye
  • NICO, 1988 by Susanna Nicchiarelli, producer: EAVE graduate Valérie Bournonville

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
