Biography

Talal Al-Muhanna is a film & TV producer who develops and produces documentary and narrative films with a focus on stories and subject matter set in the Middle East, Africa & Asia and in the Arts & Culture genre. He has also produced multi-media and performing arts projects in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, Finland, Holland, the United States, China and Lebanon. His film projects have screened at numerous festivals internationally and have been the recipient of grants and awards from Enjaaz/Dubai, Doha Film Institute, AFAC, OIF, Sundance Institute, IDFA Bertha Fund, Hot Docs Blue Ice Group Fund and Tribeca Film Institute. Talal holds a BA and MA in Film Production from Leeds Metropolitan University in the U.K. and a Certificate in Fundraising from New York University and has been a Producer in the Spotlight at the Cannes Producers Network in 2011.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
