Biography

Brede Hovland (b. 1973) graduated with a producing degree from Columbia College Chicago in 1999 and during a five year period in Los Angeles worked for Spyglass Entertainment, Touchstone/ Walt Disney Pictures and Motion Blur. He has produced and been involved in projects like Turn Me Oo, Goddammitt (2011), the winner of Best Screenplay at Tribeca in 2011, Buzz Aldrin (2011), North (2009), winner of Best New Narrative Filmmaker at Tribeca and the FIPRESCI award at Berlinale in 2009, The Man who loved Yngve (2008), Cold Feet (2006), Agent Cody Banks (2003), plus numerous TV-series, documentaries and short films.

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away in 2016. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
