In 2012 the OPEN DOORS section will focus on francophone Sub-saharan Africa. Around 10 projects will be selected and the directors and producers of the chosen projects will be present in Locarno and available for pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.

The selection will be announced in Cannes and the project information will be available online in a protected area of the Locarno Film Festival's website www.pardo.ch

In the framework of OPEN DOORS, it will also be possible to request meetings with the 6 filmmakers of the Cannes CINEFONDATION.

Please confirm by April 16, 2012 by e-mail to satu@eave.org if you are interested in principle. Once the selection of projects has been made public, we will invite you to confirm your attendance.  Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
