Göteborg International Film Festival

  • EAVE project HEARTSTONE by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson, producer: Anton Mani Svansson received the Lorens Award for best producer at the Göteborg International Film Festival.  
  • TOM OF FINLAND by Dome Karukoski, producers: EAVE graduate and Finnish National Coordinator Aleksi Bardy, EAVE graduate Annika Sucksdorff, co-producer: EAVE graduate Malin Söderlund won the FIPRESCI award.
  • EAVE graduate China Åhlander was given the Doris Film Genius Award that highlights a female film genius.

Festival Premiers Plans d'Angers

Three awards for EAVE project HEARTSTONE by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson, producer: Anton Mani Svansson at the Festival Premiers Plans d'Angers. The film won the Grand Prix du Jury, the Audience Award and the Saftas/Erasmus Award.

  • MARIJA by Michael Koch, producer: EAVE+ graduate Christof Neracher, won the Mademoiselle Ladubay Award and the Jean Carmet Award.

  • MY AUNT IN SARAJEVO by Goran Kapetanovic, producer: EAVE graduate China Åhlander won two Guldbaggen, the Swedish Academy Awards: Best director (Goran Kapetanovic) and Best supporting actress (Sadzida Setic).

  • ELLE by Paul Verhoeven, co-producers: EAVE graduate and group leader Diana Elbaum and EAVE graduate Sébastien Delloye won the main awards at the Lumières Awards: The film was awarded Best Film of 2016, Best Director and Best Actress (Isabelle Huppert).

Donate to the EAVE Alan Fountain International Scholarship Fund

A scholarship has been set up to honour the memory of Alan Fountain, former Head of Studies and President of EAVE, who passed away on March 3. Its goal is to enable one producer from outside the EU to participate in all three sessions of the EAVE Producers Workshop each year.
